OYC Europe is a wholly owned subsidiary of Oriental Yeast Co., Ltd. (OYC Japan), who is one of the world's largest manufacturers of biochemical products such as enzymes, coenzymes (co-factors), monoclonal/polyclonal antibodies, recombinant proteins and superior quality liquid stable chemistry reagents. OYC has the oldest history of manufacturing coenzymes in the world and since 1968 OYC has been manufacturing biochemical products for the clinical diagnostic industry. OYC Europe is a key supplier of critical raw materials and customized services to the IVD, API, Life Science and Nutraceutical market.
All of our activities are fully supported by our 200 million Euro Biotechnology Division in OYC, Japan, consisting of 2 production plants: Osaka production plant (OBK) the Nagahama Institute for Biochemical Science (NIB), both situated in the South West of Japan. The biotechnology division has over 200 dedicated employees.
We also function as a procurement center and technology transfer for diagnostic- and food-related raw materials, intermediate materials and technologies that we export to Japan. Our office also provides consulting services and market training for companies who are interested in doing business in the Japanese Bio and Food market.
